About;

   This book started as short story for a High school class project in English in 1980, and slowly evolved to become what it is now.  Back then, I used a typewriter, there were no personal computers...   I believe my children were five or six before I bought my first computer, and it was another year or so before I realized that I could USE it to write...
   I love reading a good story, and quickly found that I also loved to write. It was JUST as enjoyable, if not more so, because I could decide what happened, and work to insure that when I read those last words, I did not feel... depressed at the ending, at the lack of follow up that I felt was necessary, but usually lacking.  Have you ever finished a book and then looked through the last "blank" pages wishing for a smoother finish with a few more details?

   Some detail I have always felt important. I LOVED Robert Jordans books just to name a single series... Not to dismiss David Eddings, Mercedes Lackey, RA Salvator and SO MANY others, but usually found myself skipping ahead constantly to bypass the volume of those details...   I really did not care that the main character leaned against a moss covered log that was soft and damp and had apparently been in that position for many years because it was a LARGE log that would take two men to reach all the way around, while he considered what he or she was going to say next...   I have always felt that there needed to be a setting, but that the reader needed to imagine that setting in their own way to make what they were reading more enjoyable and personal to them. I hope my books give that freedom.

     Over the years, my WIFE gave a friend that liked reading a memory stick with my books, and this sort of exploded without a conscious desire from me for it to happen. I was encouraged by MANY of those people to get them published, and they WANTED the next book...
   So I set about learning how to present my writing to editors. I sent my books to editors, trying to follow the many many guidelines that might catch the interest of those editors...   In most cases, I was demeaned, Insulted, and in one instance threatened... In the rest of the cases I was simply ignored and never heard a word in reply. Those Editors that did reply, were INSULTED that I would even consider sending them my books for consideration...  Not one of them even tried to read what I had written...    After a few years of hoping, and having my hopes dashed with nasty replies I gave up...   Not even really heartbroken, just disappointed that there were people that arrogant, immoral and self important in this world.

   MANY years later, I spoke with Vern from Blue Harvest Creative at an open air stand where they had stacks of books on display, And a couple of the writers were there as well....   and I felt a faint glimmer of hope...
   That glimmer has become a glow.
   There is no Fortune to be made, but I have learned that money is only important to the very rich and the very poor. It is more important to me that what I have written for my own enjoyment can now be enjoyed by anyone.

  I think the crowning glory of my struggle, is that there are now so many ways to get a book published, even SELF publishing for those who understand their computers, that those arrogant Big time editors are most likely struggling to keep their jobs! That all by itself is worth raising a glass to! I have heard that revenge is bittersweet... I disagree...  there is no bitter in this sweet!

   I hope you enjoy my books.  I will update here as I progress!

  Nemesis Destiny Generations, book one is four hundred and thirteen pages in length.
